These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Persona and the services we provide. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Persona. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. We may suspend accounts that contain false or misleading information.
2. Acceptable use
You may use Persona to create AI spokesperson videos for lawful purposes, including personal, professional, and commercial use. You may not use Persona to:
- Create content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive
- Create content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Impersonate real people without their consent
- Create or distribute misinformation, political propaganda, or deepfake content intended to deceive
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable law
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.
3. Your content and commercial rights
You retain ownership of the scripts, video titles, and other content you create on Persona. By uploading content (such as photos for a Look-Alike character), you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of generating your videos.
All videos generated by Persona — on both Free and Pro plans — may be used for commercial purposes, including paid advertising, client work, and any other lawful commercial use. No additional licence fee is required.
Persona does not claim ownership of videos you generate. The content of your videos is yours.
4. Intellectual property
The Persona platform, including its software, design, and AI models, is owned by Persona and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the Persona platform itself beyond the right to use it as a subscriber.
5. Payment and subscriptions
Free plan accounts are provided at no charge. Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of upgrade. All payments are processed by Stripe.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not offer partial refunds for unused time.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you cancel before the new pricing takes effect, you will not be charged the new rate.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your Account page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
On termination, your right to use Persona ends immediately. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
Persona is provided "as is". We make no warranties about the availability, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from use of Persona is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of Persona after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
